Some Information about Levanzo
The smallest (5km²) inhabited island in the Egadi Archipelago, Levanzo seems wild and mountainous in appearance, surrounded by a bright blue sea rich in fish. It’s small number of inhabitants make a living from fishing and tourism. It lies 37km from Trapani. A famous place of interest is the Grotta del Genovese, dating back to the Upper Palaeolithic its walls are painted with hunting and fishing scenes.
